Pools Necklace
With color like Caribbean
tide pools, this necklace does a lot more than just look beautiful.
Handcrafted in the USA from recycled glass and fair trade silver,
it demonstrates your commitment to re-use, recycling, and fair,
ethical labor practices.
The
recycled glass comes from soda
bottles, beer bottles, auto glass, and other industrial glass scrap.
The glass is sorted by color, then melted and molded into beads,
all in a fair trade environment.
The
fine silver toggle clasp is made by the world-renown Hill Tribes
of Thailand. The fair trade designation indicates that the Thai
silversmiths are compensated fairly for their skills and craftsmanship
By earning a 'living wage' these artisans are able to stay in their
community, continuing their traditional crafts and way of life.
Necklace
measures approximately 18 inches, and includes
an enclosure about ways to continue to do your part to help our
environment and humanity (printed on recycled paper of course).
