Star Necklace
Recycled glass
is not only beautiful, but it reduces waste by repurposing glass
that was otherwise destined for the dump! The soft colors and organic
shapes of these beads remind me of sea glass gathered along coastal
beaches.
These colorful
glass beads were formerly soda bottles, beer bottles, auto glass,
and other industrial glass scrap. The glass is sorted by color,
then melted and molded into beads. Reclaimed sterling silver comes
from old jewelry that has been melted down, and from chemical and
photographic processes where silver is a byproduct. The sterling
silver wire is 100% reclaimed silver and the chain and clasp are
partially recycled content.
This falling
star necklace features a translucent greenish clear rectangle with
a trio of green dangles. The rectangle measures approx. 1 1/4"h
x 1"w x 1/4"d. Necklace length is fully adjustable up
to 18", so it can be worn as a choker, or quite long. Shown
in clear with green dangles, also available in blue with white dangles.
Includes
an enclosure about ways to continue to do your part to help our
environment and humanity (printed on recycled paper of course).
